This page lists every cookie CarersDoc sets in your browser, what it's for, and how long it lasts. CarersDoc does not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies.
What we use
We use a small number of cookies that are either strictly necessary for the platform to work (sign-in session) or store a functional preference (your chosen language). Under the ICO's guidance on the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), neither category requires opt-in consent — but we still believe you should know exactly what's set, so we list them below.

What we don't use
CarersDoc does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, social media trackers, or any third-party analytics service. We do not share cookie data with marketing platforms. If Sentry error reporting is enabled by your employer for their tenancy, Sentry may set its own cookies + localStorage entries for error correlation; those are governed by Sentry's privacy policy and apply only inside the staff-facing surfaces.
Changes
We will update this policy whenever the set of cookies changes. The version date at the top reflects the last change.
